On 13 November 2025, the Nexans Electra cable laying vessel (CLV) was positioned quayside at Ulstein Verft, marking a major milestone in the vessel’s journey towards completion.
The 30th Community of Taiwan Maritime Technician was grandly held on September 19, 2025, at Hotel Resonance Taipei, bringing together more than 650 professionals from domestic and international industry, government, and academia. A total of 255 companies from 18 countries participated. The event also featured 28 exhibitor booths, showcasing the latest ship equipment technologies and opportunities in sustainable development, fully demonstrating the industry’s strong cohesion and initiative.
This year’s symposium included nine keynote presentations, covering essential topics such as green shipping, digital transformation, intelligent vessels, and offshore wind power. The sessions delivered both depth and forward-looking insights. The event not only highlighted advancements in industry technologies but also enhanced cross-sector exchanges, injecting new momentum into the sustainable development of Taiwan’s maritime and shipping industry.

On Wednesday, 21 August 2024, one month after the delivery of the Olympic Boreas, Ulstein Verft launched the second Construction Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) for Olympic; the Olympic Notos. Both vessels are built on the innovative TWIN X-STERN solution, a concept described as a '4-wheel-drive' for the seas.
